Default Lowering my Billsteins as much as possible

Fellas,

When I installed my Billsteins HD I had every intention of lowering them as much as possible to eliminate the SUV look that was mandatory in US cars, but I was in a rental property whose driveway incline made it impossible to change my specs.

However, my wife and I just purchased a home and my new driveway is perfect for lowering so heres the plan:

I dont know how low I can go keeping the OEM springs, I may have to install the aluminum rings that go at the bast of the shocks and see what happens. If I can get an inch lower I'll be happy. I'll put some before and after pics.

Plus, Im buying the protection brace that Gert sells for front bumper for low cars, its a straight bolt-on. I wish I could by local, much cheaper, but I think Gert has the market cornered on this one....

Do you have the US or ROW springs and are they comfort (M033) or sport (M030)? Depending on how you drive your Porsche and assuming you have Bilstein HD's, if you don't track your car you may want to consider the ROW M033 springs, which work really well with the stiffer HD's.

I lowered between Sport and RS----have a Gert bar, which DEFINATELY serves its purpose with a lowered 993.

I would agree on the above if you want less of a stiffer ride---MO33's and HD's.

Well,

I never track it, but Im known to push my 993 to its limits when it comes to speed, so a stiff suspension is key, billsteins have made a difference. However, I still have my OEM springs and they feel ok with the HDs, so I'll let you guys know "how low I can go" Thanks for the feedback!
