I was looking at some old pictures of the Paris-Dakar cars, and it got me to thinking about raising my 993 up like they were. I really like that look. I have a steep driveway, so it would solve the problem of rubbing the front of my car on the dip. I talked to a mechanic at a local foreign car garage, Aprile Chicanieri, very well known, works mostly on Italian cars, about doing this work. Anyone else done this that can provide some tips?

Why? Unless you're going to run offroad and need the suspension travel, your car will handle like crud on the street. Buy a pickup, if you want to sit higher.

Hey guys, settle down...nothing wrong with an "off-road" 911. But seriously, whats wrong with you dude? LOL just kidding!
If you got OEAM crapperware Monroes then forget it. Do yourself a favor and purchase a set of Billsteins and you can lower and raise within a decent range.
Are you getting mud-flaps and a confederate flag bumper sticker too? hehe
