Default Blown a second 55w HID Ballast

I have heard some people suggesting the 35w system vs the 55w system due to this issue. The latest ballast lasted 4 hours (although the 1st one lasted 18 months!). Since i want to keep with a slim fit ballast guess I am going to have to gear down to a 35w system. No one uses a relay wire harness which the company suggested but that would require drilling through the headlight housing

The systems are so cheap now hopefully i will have better luck with a 35w set

Just stick to 35w. Less chance of fried wires and blown ballasts

Yes thats what i am going to try. I really dont want to cut through the headlight backing to install a harness

Which 35W's did you use?

Thanks

I have the kit from DDM Tuning Slim ballasts. I also use a kit from Xentec 35w Slim ballast on the family vehicle (ebay). Works very well and not expensive at all.
