Guy you are golden. We got it. Thank you.
We actually shipped a 2wd SSK by mistake with a Golden Rod, immediately followed by the correct AWD version. Now he won't return the GR core or the 2WD SSK he didn't pay for. Nice.

Sounds like an authentic, first-class dirtbag. Porcupines and such...

Mark,

If you feel his intent was to purposefully defraud you, and you sent items thru the mail, It would be good to point out the penalties for mail fraud. Hopefully Carlos does see this thread, and realizes the amount of money involved and any mail fraud charges could add up to a real inconvenience. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_fraud

He should realize this is a federal crime, now.

What bothers me is now that a friendly company with a honour system will have to change . Start creating more paper work ( cost increase ) by having core charges and refund policies .

Unreal...it seems there is no shortage of dishonest ****** lurking around these days. Hope all else is good at the FD shop these days to make up for dirtbags like this.

Hopefully you sh*t in his exhaust before sending it off to him.

exactly Guy...

Darin and I talked and we have no plans to change how we do business with RLers

we aren't going to let one bad apple spoil the bunch
Everyone else we have worked with has been a pleasure to work with. A great bunch of people, no doubt about it.

Yes, we figured it would happen sometime. It still suprises me when someone can be so dishonest, I guess it shouldn't.
But when 99.9999999% percent of the people we deal with are good honest people, we will continue to run FDM as we always have, on a handshake .

You must have an address since you shipped him the parts; home, office or PO Box? Is he ignoring your calls, does he claim he never received the parts or is he feeding you a line of crap?

Surely, the creative minds here on the forum can make some recommendations so that Carlos can see the error of his ways. As my Dad used to tell me,"I can't make you do anything. I can just make you wish you had". Anyone here have some "persuasive" friends in the Miami area?
