Great product, as well as great service when I ordered mine from FDM. I don't mind paying for good stuff and good service!

Just got mine back with new Walrod bushings. Wow what a difference! I also installed RS uprights, Motons, camber plates/monoballs, etc, but the front feels so much different and planted - confidence building even over significant bumps. No shimmy whatsoever. I am very impressed.

One other thing, I know this has been discussed when going to RS uprights and there is divide in thinking, but the steering seems much quicker than before. Maybe it is just because all the slop is out of the front with the new bushings but the steering is most difinitely different.

agreed!

We (FD Motorsports) work with Chris on a regular basis. What a great person to deal with and a fellow enthusiast with great products.
One of the few folks we can still do business with on a "handshake".

did most of you guys install the bushings yourselves?
does it affect the alignment after pulling the control arms to replace the bushings?
what's the best way to pull the stock bushings?
thanks!

Chris has a great DIY instruction write up with pics . Removal of the old bushings is a PITA , but it can be done with basic tools and alot of patience. When you remove the arm from the car , there is an eccentric bolt that must be marked for location. That way you can put it back on exactly the way it came off, and maintain your alignment.

Side note, I have also changed my engine mounts to black Wevo's ... WOW what a difference!!
Like many of you who reported having bad stock mounts, I too had a stretched out mount, without any leaks. I never would have known this to be the case, without this fantastic website!
Now the Wevo mounts and CW bushings make the car feel so tight and it sounds great!!
I love the slight increase of sound and vibration in car, probably never use the stereo again
Thanks to everyone who helped my SLIDE DOWN THE SLOPE!
CHEERS!

If you don't have Fister Stage lll's yet, just add them into that mix too. No worries about a stock radio overpowering that combination...not with excessive use of the LOUD pedal that is.

and yes, Walrod bushings/Wevo mounts/Stage lll's are pure magic baby!

I second that! I just did a bunch of stuff including all lifters replacements, and by far one of the most do's and enjoyables are the bushings...no more jiggers in the front axle. Highly recommend to anyone serious about their stuff.
