I'm in the middle of bead blasting all of my calipers in order to ready them for powder coating. (And no, I have not decided what color to make the calipers...)

The question pertains to the actual rebuilding side of things. I ordered the entire set of piston seals and dust seals from Zeckhausen. The 'kits' come in StopTech-labled bags, but the gray seals have no real identification on them, apart from sizing.

Are these seals perfectly fine to use, or should I bite the bullet and order the complete kits from Porsche - which include new pistons, new piston seals, and new dust seals? The difference is about $100. I'd like to do this job one time, correctly.

Doesn't Brembo really make the brakes?

Only real advice I have would be to make sure you have the caliper lube. I bought some from Porsche and I'm sure it cost way more than it should have, but it surely makes getting the seals back in their bores in one piece much easier.

Yes, the brakes are Brembo, but these are the seal kits sold by Zeckhausen for our brakes.

For what it is worth, I purchased the exact same kits from Zeckhausen and have had ZERO issues. I did the work myself. I'd save the coin towards something else.

I think you've answered your own question.

Personally I do not use jobber/aftermarket stuff unless there is a serious issue with OEM and someone else has come up with a better solution.
