Eric - this isn't a FS thread. I posted to ask for opinions from those who have blue interiors as to whether they felt the color of these seats were close. When & if I do decide to sell, I will definitely post a price in a separate FS post.
Ilko is correct. As with my boxster red interior, light plays many tricks on the color - what appears as terracotta in pictures is actually much richer & warmer in person. The color on these seats can turn from a bright blue in sunlight to blue/black in lower light conditions. My camera absorbs much more light than my eye, so I adjusted a photo I just took to try & depict the actual color I'm seeing:
What my camera sees:
What my eye sees:
As for the weight - they are around 25lbs without sliders. I just weighed another almost identical seat (one off Ferrari 360CS covered in tan schedoni leather - beautiful!) that I have with sliders & it was around 27lbs.
I don't believe than you would be able to purchase a set of these unless you commissioned a set directly from Sparco. Even then, they may have license restrictions. Sets that were optioned into Ferrari 575M's or Superamerica's and had the Cavalino embossed into the headrests, along with a small rectangular 3rd opening under the harness ones.

some 550 maranello owners would love to get hold of those seats.
I'd suggest posting them on ferrarichat, if they are the 575 sport seats they are extremely rare.
start the bidding at 10 grand minimum.

Thats exactly my point, they are too rare. No replacement parts if they break, no customer service hotline, not good.
Plus k722070 is from Utah? What the? Bunch of ski bums.
I vote this turns into a for sale thread ASAP and $1500, I'll take them off your hands.

1. I love goodies
2. Never afraid to tell someone that I'm a buyer if they sell
3. I have a lot of friends with cool stuff that also know where to offload it easily
Thanks Darin!
If anyone is interested in some more seat ****, I could post a few more pictures of the collection!
