I haven't even called the seller yet...it has been for sale for a while now and Im thinking if I could get it for 30K and it was in as good as condition as it looks..it might be worth it (even tho I prefer black over grey interior...)

I think this was posted here recently. Not sure if you can get an easy 10+% discount from a dealer just like that, but then again I haven't heard your pitch yet

haha, being that it has been for sale for quite some time, that worries me...plus, it makes my pitch very easy: "i have 30K and can be there next weekend"

Kent, Why not pull the trigger on that "perfect" C2 coupe I found in Michigan and posted yesterday. As a private seller, if he drops the price 10%, you'd be at $37K. I know it's a bit higher than what you've looking at, however given the color, options (sport seats), mileage and condition, it seems to me to be a better value.

I am relatively close to this car (South Portland.) If you come to terms with the seller and want someone to put an eye on it, I can try to meet him somewhere. FYI the car has dealer plates on it, so it's worth discussing the history of the vehicle with the seller.

Let me know if I can help.

More money than I want to tie up right now...between this and my cayman I will have too much cash tied up in toys!

Thank you! I am going to try and reach out to the owner this weekend; however, the dealer plates thing signals he is a broker and will not have much history on the car which will kill the deal before it starts.

You may need to continue your search. Pretty sure the car is sold to someone new here: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...993-owner.html

Tim,
I have the seats basting in leatherique, debating if I will use Zaino, or go with P21S products on the exterior. Then he'll be ready for a photo shoot.
I also have flushed the brake system, and have contacted Rennsports for a quote on suspension upgrade. I also hope to meet with any local PO with stage II Fisters.

Dealer was easy to deal with, he has several 993's so you can still contact him Kent. He will take the car to any shop of your choice in Portland or Mt Angel for a PPI.
