Morning folks,
short background story, at my previous residence, the open parking garage had a few miscreants who decided my very dusty 993 was a good place for a box and also a child felt like drawing in the dust.
End result was some ugly scratching on the front fenders and hood.
Now, I was very concerned these scars would be quite permanent, but using my trusty porter cable and some of meguiars ultimate compound, they are gone.
From what i've read, the UC is similar to the professional line M105/205, but the abrasiveness is somewhere in between, and the the abrasives don't diminish so you can keep working the product.
Now most products of this nature would require additional steps before the wax, but this is literally a one step product. There is little to no swirl marking or holograms from this product. you can use a swirl mark remover if you wish, but I've found it useless.
This product even worked well on my hard as nails ceramic paint on my daily driver.
the best part is that its cheap, readily available, and it works.
Here are some pics of the results on my DD

can be purchased at pretty much any parts store and I believe walmart.
Sure I'm down to help, though I think JBH might want to fight me LOL.
I just did the belts on my turbo so I'm even more familiar with the process.
