Default Another one thinking of selling

Well there must be something in the water, as I am also contemplating selling my 993, although I have always jumped from one project to another.

I have an urge for a C4S, and actually have a few leads on a couple of high mileage examples. I have this thing for high mileage cars.

To get to the point, I am considering selling my current car to help with the transition. My car is a 95 with 108K on her. Currently has M030's and HD's, Walrod bushings on front,RS motor mounts, LWF with chip. The current attire is GT2 tail with GT2 "taco" splitters, clear euro corners with bumperette delete, and headlight washer delete. I have the original splitters along with two more deck lids. A 95 with basket handle, and a 96 sans basket handle. I recently installed a new evaporator and will be having a thorough check done prior to listing.

I am thinking around 24k, maybe less if the car is returned to stock. It seems this would give prospective buyers the most options.Does this seem to be in line with the current market? And yeah.... I need to add pictures of the interior. It is Aventurine Green with Cashmere interior.

Thanks,
Emerald

At that price pt, with all the mods, I think your car should go quickly! GLWS....

Since you asked...in my opinion it's an easier sell if returned to stock. Given the mileage, many will ask about top end and overall history of the car. It's a nice color combo so if no major issues your thoughts on pricing seem on target. Good luck.

Agree with above, return the look to second pic to reach a broader audience and quicker sale - color combo a big plus!!

Good luck with your sale. I also think the car would be an easier sell stock, and you can part out the mods for extra cash / offer them to the buyer.

Why?
Youv'e got a nicely sorted car. IF you like the refurbish and build-up process of a project, I can kinda understand.

Yes, you get a 1.1" wider rear (IIRC), big reds, LSD (all why I went C4S) and AWD. The wider car doesn't really show up until you park next to another car and stare at it. Wanna feel wider? Park your car next to an SC! The big reds are hardly a "needed" upgrade since the stock black brakes are damn good anyway. LSD is nice if you AX or track...

just my 2c...

(Wish I was done with my car To-Do list and hunting for a new project... )

Emerald,
Will you also sell that which you've been working on within your garage?

Well, since you were the first to think of it, might I say it would look stunning in your car. You might have to fight Mike for it, but I always consider all offers.

Hey Keith,

Yeah, I really enjoy the process and I have always wanted an S. I know that from inside, they are the same, and not much wider from the outside, but I still want one. It will probably take a while to find what I want, so I get to play with the one I have, and enjoy it for a while.

Emerald- hate to see you sell her, but happy that you are only doing so to stay in the 993 family. I know someone who is looking so I'll let him know about your car. GLWS!
