Default Clutch slave :( fte or oem any difference?

Planning on replacing the clutch slave and hope to not have to do it again ( for a while anyway) I am seeing 2 types with mixed prices some are listed as fte and some oem the fte is generally cheaper but the prices are all over the place. Can I use the fte? (are they secretly the oem manufacturer?) what else should I replace while down there? Hose etc

Thanks

Hey Moots,

Pelican sells FTE as an OEM supplier. I was just about to post a Slave and Tube for sale - $95 shipped.

Connects to the slave. The OEM part is exactly the same and has no Porsche logo. It comes in Porsche box and the part has a FTE logo.

??

By chance is tube Canadian for hose? That's the only thing I can think it would be.

Edit: I'm a slow typer, Daryl beat me to it.

If you're talking about the black rubber hose between the hard (hydraulic fluid) line and the slave cyl it's recommended to replace it when you replace the slave cyl.

Yes, this is what I have, not sure why I called a tube when it is clearly a hose
