Default Need Opinion: Wheels

Hey everyone,

Thanks to some very crafty work by Nurburger, I can finally see what these RG5s would look like on my car. Now that I see them, I'm not sure how I feel about them vs. the "stock' Turbo Twists. They're BEAUTIFUL wheels - no doubt - but do they distract from the clean look and sleakness of the car? I can't tell!

Opinions needed!!

I love the look of the twists... however, I'm not a fan of the directional wheels. Driver side looks right... passenger side won't. Just my opinion... and OCD. I voted for the RG5s BTW.

Twists ... and ... they're easier to clean.

I voted for the RG5s...more unique, less common and, IMO, would paint the spoke and centers a shade darker to blend and soften the wheel/body contrast.

I love wheel dilemma threads

If the twists are hollow, run them. Otherwise, RG5.

+1 which ever wheels are lighter. Keep the twists if you plan on keeping your car-I am sure they will go back on at some point.

Since I am a huge can of mesh wheels and far less of a fan of twists, I voted for the RG5's.

I am definitely not a can of the RG5s, but I am a fan. Not sure if I like the color on them...are they white? I love the RG5s polished.

I am going to contradict myself from another thread, even though the twists are OEM, and the hollow ones are light, I am not a huge fan of them. To me, they just look OK. Maybe it is because I see them on so many Porsches they just look kind of normal. something about the asymmetry too bugs me.

Between the 2 I like the RG5s. More unique look.

I do like the Techart wheels a lot, but from what I have heard, they are really heavy.
