Sporadic Check Engine Light
It comes on for about 20 to 30 seconds then goes off. This is on a '95.
I have not been able to figure out under what conditions it comes on. Sometimes I accelerate to redline and it stays off, then other times it comes on.
Sometimes it comes on when I just coast to a stop.
It never stays on for long.
Any ideas?

My guess is intermittent o2 sensor failure. Put your key in the ignition to the on position with the engine off. Push the gas pedal to the floor for a few seconds and then watch your check engine light start to flash. Then do a search and find a cel code list and you'll find out for sure.

Burning Brakes
Mine, also a '95, does this. It showed up on the PPI 3 months ago. The shop hooked up the hammer, and informed me the o2 sensors were the only thing showing up. Still sporadic. I aim to change them next service.
