Default Tired old wheel center refurb...

Recent posts with all the cool wheels gave me some incentive to wander out to the garage and take a peek under the cover. I couple of minutes later I made a call to AWS to have them picked up and refinish my turbo twists.
The painted wheel centers looked dull and I didn't want to put them on newly painted wheels and I'd figure I would take a crack at refurbishing them myself.
Big thanks to Stan for coming up with my matching fourth center.
  1. Cleaned them up with alcohol
  2. Masked the crest
  3. Roughed them up a bit with 3600 grit sand paper
  4. Sprayed them with clear enamel, 5 coats.
  5. Wet sanded starting with 4000 and worked my way to 12000 grit.
  6. Rejex
  7. Wa-la, good as new.

Nice weekend project!! What is the part number for that style center cap? These appear to be flat and not concaved like the ones on my hollow spokes.

The part number is 993.361.303.07. Build dates stamped are 96' and 97'.
