Always condition your top with RAGGTOP. Their product conditions your top, specifically the stitching on your top and around your plastic window. You can also condition your plastic window with RAGGTOP. Your top will look better and last longer....proper maintenance and care.

There are many opinions on this, but if I were you I would leave it manual. When my '97 cab's top stopped working I went manual and when I got the current cab I immediately changed it to manual operation. I have yet (for me) to find a down side..

I am opening it manually at the moment, headliner super saggy, rear window is faded/yellow and some stitches have gone.

this is a quote I got today:
-new top: $ 2,213.00
- headliner: $ 862.00
- 2 tension straps: $ 130.00
- 2 new motor cables: $ 496.00 (2*248)
- timing transmission: $ 490.00

total cost with taxes: 4,484.00

was fainting when he gave me the quote

notes:
- I had some problem with timing
- I have some issues with the cables
- he said that is good to change cables every time you change the whole top
I recently changed my top in Toronto and those numbers look high to me. I don't see a labour cost so are those prices for each part including the labour to install the them?
My roof didn't require any of the cables or a headliner so I can't speak about those. My top came from German Auto Tops in the US and
was $400usd just recently and I paid $1300cdn or about $900usd for installation so that's significantly less than your numbers.
As others have said there is a tremendous amount of labour to this job so you definitely want to look after everything possible while you're in there!
