Default Accident

Glad you are okay....

Can you go to local police station and still file report with your version?

File with your insurance company also, if not already.

SUV guy sounds like an *** IMHO......probably has other wrecks or bad driving record......your insurance company can check on this, I believe....

Fight it...
I have to agree even though I think without a witness the other driver's insurance company will chalk it up to a he said, she said thing and refuse to pay. I went through this once with an accident where the other driver was totally at fault - ran a blinking red light, and her insurance co (Allstate - one of the worst) refused to pay because "I didn't do all I could to get out of the way" It was total BS but the choice was to sue or let my insurance co pay. My agent talked me into just letting them handle it and I have regretted it ever since. Fight it if for no other reason you'll later regret not at least trying.

Cameras everywhere these days. Check to see if that section of road is monitored by a traffic camera. I'd go back and look. You might get lucky.

On top of the last time I was hit I decided I better get ready to take them to small claims court. I did and realized I shouldn't have been so nice in the courtroom as the judge was an idiot and felt compassion for the other party who was straight out lying and yet I was the one with the pictures. I still won, but wow did I lose out on a lot of money from actually being injured and couldn't work my normal hours.

ALways, always, always call the cops and have them do a report on-scene.

Wow. Sorry to hear about the fender bender & glad you're okay.

Hope it all works out.

I had a lady in a mini van run a red light right in front of my '76 Vette. She told the officer that her light was green until three witnesses told him it was red. I still had the hardest time getting her insurance company them to cover the damage.
