Wheel Refinishing in Naperville, IL area
As this winter drags on, I am working on touch-ups on the car. On my list is refinishing the wheels (scratched a couple with a stupid mistake of setting them face-down ).
Does anyone have shop recommendations for getting this done in the Naperville/Aurora area?
Thanks!

I had a set of wheels fully powdercoated - inner barrels and outer faces - from Transwheel in Bensenville about 3 years ago. It cost $750 but looked great. Hopefully theres another less pricey (even non local) alternative since I am planning to have a set of Cup2 painted later this spring.

I have not found any local shops in Chicago that do a quality job. The last wheel refurbishments I had done were sent out to Al Reed Wheels in California. This was about 4 years ago and Al did a refurbishment of a set of Fuchs 16 inchers off my 89 Carerra. Cost was $125 per wheel and included straightening, stripping off the old anodized coating and polishing and painting of the wheels. The job was flawless. Look him up on the internet. I think that with shipping, the whole set came out to less than $600. Reed came highly recommended by PCA.

I have used these guys, and Porsche of Highland Park uses them as well apparently. Great job on my old R32 wheels and decently priced at $130.
