Question Pollen Filter Cover Clips?

In attempting to reinstall the pollen filter cover (passenger side) in my 1997 993I dropped two exterior clips into the abyss. One was a clip holding a wiring harness snug to the cover and the other held the two halves of the cover together. Does anyone know these part numbers or have extras to purchase?

Take a look at the 993 parts list, p. 354. Could be item #14, #15, #27? Inquiring minds want to know!

The clip holding the wiring harness is specific to the passenger side polen cover and is not displayed in the referenced catalogue. I ordered item 14 (same part no as item 27) and it is not the part needed for either application. I also received a new polen cover but it is missing the clip. The only outstanding possibility is item 15 but its illustration in the catalogue is not close to the design of the missing wiring harness clip.

Perhaps my 1997 model is different from the 1998 catalogue - another possibility is mine is a convertible.

Bummer! The reason I want to know is that, sometime back, I did the same thing. Have yet to determine the correct numbers.

that's a tough one. one idea might be to try a dismantler like LA on that where you can just describe to them on the phone what you want and have them go pluck it off a car without a p/n?

I just found this 3-year-old thread. I have the same problem. Twice I had people send the wrong clip, drawing the wrong conclusion from the parts diagram. I settled for duct tape, but would still like to find the clip.

But keep in mind the design has slightly changed over the years. So if it matters to you, order extra if you want them matching.

if you have a 3d printer:

I think it will be stronger than OEM!

Funny that was the part the dealer parts guy thought might work. It didn’t at least on my car. I need a clip where the span clamped is about half an inch. This part was under that. The hunt continues. Appreciate the suggestion
