I enjoy working on my car and have several minor projects I would like to undertake but live in an apartment in Los Angeles where they dont appreciate the diy mechanic. Does anyone know of a place where I could rent a bay or lift to do some minor work. Beverly Hills Porsche just quoted me $350 to change my oil there has to be a cheeper (more interesting ) way

Oh I did do a search on this and I know that some army bases have bays you can use if your ex military, sadly I am not so I think that method is out.
