We may not like it (the car) but someone has invested and lost a lot of money in this vehicle. Shame. Hard lesson learnt I guess.

Even tasteful mods seldom return dollar for dollar what was invested but when you push the taste envelope like this then the word "investment" is no longer even remotely applicable.
