twin distributor belt replacement

There are 18 teeth on the gear that is driven by the distributor drive belt. That would equate to 20 degrees per tooth.

That offset does not look like 20 degrees.

Are you sure both advance mechanisms were free to move and in their rest position when you timed the shafts? Hold your distributor drive gear and turn the primary advance counter-clockwise to its stop. Do the same to the secondary advance.

The belt is now changed. The reason why the rotor were not aligned was that the other was not infact fully "down" in its groove on the axel.

Changing of the belt was not really easy, it required a bit patience and thinking...
