Default head temp sensor replace

ok.. i got the old one out without issue and finally got the new.

the only problem is that I can't get the threads to take. the wire coming off the sensor hits something and will not allow it to turn without getting off the threads.

are there any secrets to getting this @#$%^#@ thing in?

Is this the same as the 3.2's...where it goes in at an angle on the front of the #3 head? If so, I took a long socket and cut a long slot out almost the entire length to clear the wire and used it to screw it in, and tighten. I've not gotten this far in 993 knowledge yet, so maybe I'm talking apple to oranges.

Same as that but you cant get a socket on it due to some unknown part blocking it. It gets in the way when you are just trying to turn it by hand.
