Not really. I just compared the situation to myself (fiction!) and would not be sure if my wife would appreciate it. Just add a TV with DirectTV, a fridge with adult beverages and ... "You are always the in garage" ...

- # of cars stored?
- SF of shop/work area?
- SF of couch / lounge / kegerator / plasma area?

Be sure to leave wall space for vintage racing posters. Florida races would be very appropriate.
