Speedometer faceplate screws?
I've managed to somehow 'misplace' my speedometer faceplate screws.
Does anybody know what size they are or where to buy them. Or does anyone have a couple of spares lying around or any old non-working gauges that could be used as a donor...?

I have an oil pressure/level gauge, but it's working so I would not really want to cannibalize it. Interesting question - do they all use teh same screws? Also, are you changing speedo faces?

I had to replace the odometer gear. Odometer is now working perfectly, but I can't fully reassemble everything without the two blasted screws.
I'm not sure if the screws in all the gauges are all the same, they are probably the same thread/pitch but might vary in length slightly...?
I don't even know what length they are, if someone out there knows, that would be a start.
It would be a waste of a good gauge just for two screws... Ideally a non-functioning speedo, tacho or clock would be the ideal donor...

I may have extra screws from a few clocks. If you find out that the black screws are the same for all of the instruments, I'll gladly send a few to you (if I have them).

Andreas,
That would be really awesome! If I assemble the various speedo pieces and insert a screwdriver into the hole, then the screw can only have a maximum length of 10mm or 3/8". If the screws are 8-10mm in length, I'm guessing they would work.
