Took my '95 993 in for Washington State emissions test yesterday. I was somewhat amazed to see the result. It was less than 10% of the allowable limits for both hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. In fact, the tester told me the result was among the lower results of all the cars they had tested that day.

This from a 16 year old car which burns about a quart of oil every 800 miles.

 

Yes, I am always surprised how little emissions my 993 produces.
