what he said...the WB cars(TT NOT included) have an offset in the stub pipe from the tip. I believe the TT and C2 can utilize the straight pipe from the tip.
However, you have an option. Contact Darin at FD Motorsports, he has a jig to fab the offset. He did a set for me this last summer, and they came out fantastic.

There was a post on Piston heads in the UK about a guy who had managed to have non offset tips on his 4S! They did fit (just) but were at a crazy angle. Best get the correct ones for your car, NB are the commonest ones out there!
