Default Big Oval exhaust tips.....

Gentlemen,

I just installed some OEM big oval exhaust tips (originally made for the 993 RS) but they look "off". Im quite sure I got them on the right sides each, but I the left side looks like it pops out too much...Im confused.

Thanks,

Leon

Measure the muffler ends to see if they are located correctly.

Default Uneven exhaust tips

I've noticed many 993s with uneven exhaust tips. Usually, the right (passenger side) one sticks out further than the other. There's not much play in the muffler cans, tips, etc. Anyone know how to get them even?

There is some slack in the cats-to-header bolts,

the process i believe from the factory it to leave the cat to header bolts till last for final minor adjustment.

There is no such thing as OEM big ovals for an RS, as stated, most cars arent even without some tinkering!

+1 and I've been trying to figure out a way to adjust it, not easy.

I had the same issue. Took the can w/ the short tip and brought it to a local muffler shop. I had them add 1" to the exit pipe. Now they match.
