Email sent. If it's complete and is for C2, I'll take it.

You're third, and it looks like Mike is buying.

Yep, I'm taking it. Payment sent. Thanks, Dan!

Actually, one of the questions i have for others - does the long tube pictured above replace Mark and Derrin's Golden Rod? Anything else to add to this kit (other than solid mounts which I don;t want to do on a street cab)?

hey Mike...

good price on that kit!

the Golden Rod is the other end of the shift mechanism. Goes from the fork to the trans. Diagram here:http://fdmotorsports.net/index_files/Page604.htm

Ciao!

Thanks, Mark! I've been thinking of Golden Rod for a while (well, that sounds vaguely... ummm...)

So, I'm getting parts 15, 16 and 17 with this kit and Golden Rod is #12 on the diagram, right? Any extra steps need to be taken to install Golden Rod while the shifter is being installed?

yes, those are the parts in the kit you picked up plus the lever and fork (1 &11)

The only extra step is the retaining bolt at the trans end. There is a DIY on our site that might help also.
Have fun!

Thanks, Mark! Sounds like a spring project to me. I'll be contacting you guys closer to the install time.
