SO I have issues with my rack when it is warm Normal spring summer temps--a bit stiff on slow sharp turns.
I just took out the car yesterday in minus -9c weather. Well I'll be damed as the steering is perfect.
Any clues as to what I should do when it warms up???
Rack and Pump were replaced some time ago-2 years-but it did not work 100%!
Really would rather not replace again!
I know this is old news from me but the winter factor is quite interesting!
My guess is that it may have something to do with the fluid in the system and how it reacts to the different temperatures. Maybe when the rack was replaced, the incorect hydraulic fluid was used?
