Great news!
You may wish to add a #7, and that being Passing Smog!
I had that ... on the list but took it off with my edit in case anyone under 18 is here on the forum.
Yes, very long night...had one last port that would not drill out... sat there for about 45 minutes and it just didnt seem like it was going anywhere. So I blocked off the other 2 ports on that side with the drain stops (thanks again for the tip CDM) and loaded the channel with B12... some light pressure at about 20 psi...and after about 45 seconds of that..., the pressure dropped to 0 psi and I looked under the car and the port had cleared, black stuff everywhere. Flushed a few more times and all clear! Feels good to get this done... Every 993 owner should include this and the check valve for 30K maintenance IMO... !
Yeah, I need to do this SAI clearout as well, but with no garage space to do it, and even less talent, I guess I'm off to Otto's in Venice Beach where they charge an arm and a leg and don't guarantee that it will get rid of the CEL, from what I've heard
Hey goofball...I know what you mean...I did it without garage space in the large garage at my apt. at night. Thankfully the manager is cool about it. I just used jack stands and worked on it all there...it all went pretty smoothly. All told I probably spent about $250 or so on parts, tools, B12, wires etc. + the biggest thing was the time spent on it...quite a few hours. Ottos could probably get it done in 4 or 5 shop hours but that is still probably where the bulk of their price comes from. What are they charging?

I wanna say $750-$1000, but the bigger issue for me is I don't think that if you bring the car in there with a CEL because of clogged SAI ports, that they'll guarantee that their process, which I think involves solvents to clear the passages, will get rid of the CEL.
