Nick-- Brilliant choice. I've been wondering if RLer LA964RS (Robert)'s 964 Turbo sold.
I enjoyed reading about this beast in Excellence Magazine & seeing it in person @ Laguna Seca in 2009. (Still curious if you made it there this year.)

The rear wing is aluminum?? Wow, never heard of that option. Can't imagine what they must go for on the used market. If the wing is on the car, your buddy needs to take it off, store it and put on a fiberglass replica. Like the aluminum hoods, something like that wing is too rare to have on the road or track.

This car is very interesting. Jäger, do you have any additional info/photos? I recon all the 993 turbo cabs had the 3.6 turbo setup from the 965. The I/C looks like a 965 item and the car seems converted to WB using the original bumpers/sills/quarterpanels. Very cool.. PM if you prefer.
