Default Big Red's calliper piston diameter

I notice the diam of the pistons is different in the calliper. Anyone know if the larger one takes the leading edge of rotor, or trailing edge? I vaguely remember from my racing days, the bigger one is at the trailing edge because of lower gas temps...
