It is truly interesting. I had a 996 TT and loved it in so many ways. Frank owns the one in this picture and I drove it after selling mine. It was such a trip to feel the similarities in such massively different cars! I have to say that I am just in love with Porsche's... the more I am immersed in this world the more I love it. (except when a maintanence issue arises! ) I also have owned a Cayman S and a 1982 SC...also the Porsche pedigree is overwhelming.
I too had a 996TT but, I have to say my arena red 993 has been my favorite!
Glad you had fun driving ...but we all know which one looks the best
And yes, size does matter ...in this case diminutive rocks!
As a side note, for me, my fav shot would be the 993 as the eldest brother, with an SC and Longhood beside representing 3 generations!! Any takers on that photo??
Edward
How's this:
Sorry, my photography skills are somewhat lacking. My buddy Dan owns the Martini tribute '70T, his son Chris owns the '78SC. Pictures were taken in Aug. '09 at Canepa Design. Dan and Chris came up for the Monterey Historics and while they were up we made a trip up to Canepa's. I knew a gal that worked in the office at the time and she turned us loose in the showroom, museum and best of all, the shop. Everyone was down in Monterey so we had the run of the place. Dan is a Porsche mechanic and getting to see rare Porsches such as 935's and 962's as well as other exotic cars in pieces up close without someone looking over our shoulders was quite a treat.

Very Cool! I just LOVE the Martini livery...Any other 3 generation picts out there? It's almost like you can combine Porsche's like the ingredients in a good drink...the good kind.
PS. someone send me a pm on how to quote two or three posts in a reply...I never learned this skill.
