My head is spinning with all these numbers..

So how much are custom ratios?? I am sure price varies but, are we talking 5k for the gears, then another 2-3k install?

The cups have a taller rear tire too
here's a comparison w/ an early Cup w/ 8k rev limit, later Cups are reved to 8.5K or more

That's the conclusion I have come too based on my needs. Either a 0.821 G50/21 6th up to the 0.866 would be ideal.
