New 1995 993 C2 owner in Colorado!
Today I finally accomplished a lifelong dream of owning a Porsche, and my favorite one at that. I purchased the 993 from Jim Kennedy in Tenn. and had it shipped to Colorado. The car was on consignment from a local PCA member. It's midnight blue w/grey interior, 27k miles and in excellent condition.
This morning was the first time I have driven a Porsche. My wife and I took it out for a spin, and I was grinning ear to ear. Loved it!
I have to say a huge thank you to Arena993 (Mike) for doing the Rennfax for me. I would not have bought the car without his input. When I saw the ad @ 27k miles for the price, I thought it was too good to be true. After I had it inspected and I saw it for my own eyes today, I just ran around the block jumping for joy. Thanks Mike, you are the best!
I also wanted to say "thank you!" to all of you Rennlisters for providing excellent advice along the way, putting up with my ,
and just being helpful when you didn't have to be.
With that said - What's next? Wheels, tires, lowering? I promise more pics of interior/exterior after this weekend. It needs a good washing/buff job and detail.

Welcome to Porsche ownership! Sounds like you got a great deal on a beautiful car!
Looks like you live in my brother-in-laws neighborhood in Highlands Ranch. Maybe all the homes there start looking the same.
There are an unlimited number of places to start. Lots of people want a certain look that comes with lowering the car and changing wheels. Just add the things you like and drive, drive drive!

Awesome job on getting the car Tony! It looks like new.
I saw the post about that car and thought the same thing, what a deal.
As for the upgrades, watch out that slope is very slippery. If I had it to do over I would have driven mine as is for a year or so before making changes, but then I think about how I couldn't live without the muffler upgrade, or the suspension upgrade, or the bushings, or the motor mounts or the... you get the idea.
Congrats, now get out there and drive it!

Congrats! Having been a near, lifelong Porsche fan and just able to get into one in the past 6 years or so, I understand your excitement! The smile will be hard to get off your face.
As for mods, I'd go with some Fister mufflers... Stage II or III. The sound is intoxicating.

Mmmm, midnight blue, one of my favorite 993 colors. And the best year too
First mod? Lose the basket handle (I always wanted an excuse to use this emoticon)
Looks like a great car, enjoy it!

Welcome and congrats....you are bound to, like the rest of us here, find 993 ownership to be an unbelievably rewarding experience. They are a blast to drive!
As far as mods, like Murphy said, you can't go wrong with the Fister exhaust (I have the 2s). I would strongly recommend doing the suspension, and in my opinion, the Cup wheels do nothing for the car, so they would be next.
Enjoy and have fun.
