Battery in wife's Targa was dead ... Long story, don't ask.
Drove to local Sears, came home with Die Hard Gold battery, group 48. Went to remove previous battery, it was Group 42.
Group 48 fit fine, 42 was smaller, same posts and polarity, same hold down, same vent.
Which one is the OEM size?
Thanks.

Group 91. The group 48 is the same size but 15 mm (just over a half-inch) taller. The group 48 interferes slightly with the trim panel across the front of the apron. Porsche Canada supplies the group 48 as a replacement now.
I installed a Pow-R-Surge 7000 (648MF) by East Penn, which other than case colour, is 100% identical to the Porsche branded Moll Kamina battery I took out.
