So meh took a lil road trip to SFL. Got airline tickets for $300, taxes included for family of four retured to MD, but got talked into driving...sigh. Packed up the sedan and headed south for a week of fun in the sun. While there I metup with JdHerzII who took the wife and I to dinner. After dinner we toured his shop, checked out a few of his cars and bikes (that are insanely clean), etc. We had planned on doing some more stuff but I couldn't fit it in..too much friends and family to see. So J ...I'll be back....

Where did you stay? I was there last month staying at the Riptide. Kind of nice place, but, will stay at the Marriott next time.

Would of taken more, but was lil pressed for time.

I stayed at a time share place - Hollywood Beach Towers; not the fanciest but very convenient, especially with parking underneat and a bar right out front. It's in renovation mode now and they're sprucing the place up. When in SFL I spend very lil time in the rooms so just need a place rest. I stayed at the Westin Diplomat (5 mins south) a couple years ago - now that's nice. Also Newport Beachside - 826 & a1a, interesting place, not fancy flocked by Europeans, but good location. The Marriott was very crowded with lots of activity every time we skated by, until the cops ran us.

The one in pic is an 01 E55, and then there's the beater 00 C43. Not in the pictures, is JDHertz's 99 C43 which is ..well super clean with low miles. It was tucked in a far corner resting under a cover. Did get to take the cover off and inspect it though...looks new!
