Very nice! You just need a car with some orange highlights to bring out the colors.

Maybe I need to take the old girl out today and look for a few photo ops.

Ilko,

I am only in the country for a week but would have met up with you for a drive this morning instead of watching DVRed Japan F1. Next time...

Nice pics. I've been enjoying some gorgeous fall drives too (sans all the hills and curves. )

Well, I went out driving some beautiful Bama backroads today. Even took the camera. Alas, when I got around to having time to snap a few, the car was horribly dusty. I took it by a spray wash and was going to rinse it off, but the bill changer wasn't working. I guess it just wasn't meant to be today. I scouted out a couple potential places though, so maybe I'll start my own thread soon.

I know...so sad. However, when winter breaks and the first drive comes after many weeks of waiting, dreaming and scheming...it is truly fantastic. I'm already counting down the days until spring!

Bart, that's the beauty of having a silver car - hides dirt well

Chao, would've loved to meet up. Maybe at Arrwin's GTG - I'm a maybe at this point, we'll see how it goes... Still haven't watched Suzuka's qualifier or race - this weekend has been crazy!

Alan, yes - 214, just a couple of miles from my house

On a more somber note - my Audi's fuel pump died today when we were out for a drive. Now it's at the gas station in Phoenicia, I'll have it towed to the house tomorrow. With any (make that LOTS OF) luck I can get a replacement fuel pump tomorrow and install it. The alternative is to cramp my wife, 15-month-old son, dog, and luggage into the Porsche and drive back to the City. Yikes!

Ha, ha, I knew it! Drove up thru Devil's Notch a few weeks ago. That retaining wall in the background
was the give away. I believe there is a seller of new and used Audi and VW Parts in Fleischmanns, can't
remember their name though...

Beautiful! Heading on the Blue Ridge Pkwy next week hopefully. The colors are just starting now here in the south.
