Yup that's a big difference, but if you were comparing a 993 to a 997, model to model, they'd be about the same weight. So weight isn't really a difference between the 993 and 997.

Yes, but a 993TT is just over 3,300 pounds, compared to your 997TT at 3,450 pounds. Plus you have another +100 HP to support the additional 150 pounds.
