I'd like to know who sells the pulley system with tensioner for the alternator setup. That looks to be the solution to all the shimming and changing stock belts all the time.
I've never seen it on Ninemeisters site.
Does anybody have an idea?
Thanks,
Ed

This was a really good show, even if Carolla butted in every 15 seconds and dominated every conversation like he usually does.
The week prior on his podcast he had Wayne Dempsey from Pelican Parts. That's an even better listen for the story he tells. I won't give it away!

Any ideas where one could buy this? I've emailed TAG, but no help from customer service. I really fancy one of these for my 993...

USD 2,500 via Singer. GB anyone???
![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)
It's a completely custom made chronograph movement in a 911 clock housing made exclusively for Singer, hence the high option price in the catalog. Apparently the prototype which you see cost a whole lot more than the option price due to the tooling & pattern making costs.....

TopGear.com's "Singer 911…now with added Cosworth"
Singer Vehicle Design is the company behind the splendid Porsche 911 you see in the pictures. That, in fact, is the third such type of 911 the company has built, and it is very splendid indeed.

Essentially, SVD takes a 1990-1994 era 964-platformed 911, strips it and fills it with box-fresh bits of new Porsche. And now, the company has announced a partnership with Cosworth - yes, that Cosworth - to help develop the classic air-cooled engine.

Three variants will be available: a 3.6-litre ‘Touring' model with 300bhp, a 380bhp ‘Sport' version and the top-spec 400bhp ‘Cup' unit, in either 3.9-litre or 4.0-litre vintage.

While I think the Cosworth cachet would be nice, what further development can be done to these engines that Colin Belton, Steve Weiner, and the other tuners haven't already figured out?

Wheels were made by Jeff Alton, who sold production to Zuffenhaus.
From porsche.jeffgrant.com's "Singer 911" thread:
Love the wheels, of course I am biased as I made them![](http://porsche.jeffgrant.com/images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
Had a conference call on Friday with Rob Dickenson (formally the lead singer of Catherine Wheel) at Singer and they seem confident that they are going to sell a few of these cars!
Excellent exposure, congrats Jeff. I can only fathom you're busy with the Fuchs.
Everyone seems to want them on their newer 911s (I've seen some 993s with Fuch syle wheels) and with the upcoming 997 Sport Classic sporting them from the factory, I can only imagine demand will only go up from here. Keep up the good work!
Those are great pics of the car, it sure is unique. Big $$$, but pretty cool.
We sold that wheel line off now. kinda bitter-sweet...
