Gauge LEDs Kits Blue White Red $39
no connection to this guy

It seems like it comes complete to avoid buying multiple parts to make your own.
If I recall, another guy spent $120 doing this.

I emailed the company yesterday and asked them if they guaranteed the leds would fit straight into the 993 instruments [speedo, tach fuel, pressure, clock] as the OE ones do -without any modification.
Their response - YES.

They worked as described. One strange thing was that a few lights had to be put in a certain way for them to work. Almost like a positive negative issue.
Just make sure you test by touching the light tabs on the outside before committing to save time and confusion.
I still need to do my rpm gauge, because I can't wiggle past the steering wheel and dash.
Dimmer still works!!

led's are polarity sensitive..............................
As with all diodes, current flows easily from p-type to n-type material.[71] However, no current flows and no light is produced if a small voltage is applied in the reverse direction. If the reverse voltage becomes large enough to exceed the breakdown voltage, a large current flows and the LED may be damaged. If the reverse current is sufficiently limited to avoid damage, the reverse-conducting LED is a useful noise diode.

just by looking at the led, you can't tell the polarity.
trial and error.
you said, "One disappointment was the clock came with different bulbs and aren't as bright."
how are the clock leds different?
did you ask why they were not as bright as the others?

Hi friends.
Better removing the steering wheel to take out the tachometer otherwise you may damage the tachometer's outside ring (you may not see it but a dent is there) and remove the steering is quite easy.
I think heat is a big issue if you want to use super bright LEDs.
NEVER turn ignition key ON if air bag is out. If you do that will cost you from $30.00 to $100.00 to clear airbag light.
Hope it will help.
