Default WTB: 993 with 3.8L engine

WTB: 993 2wd with a 3.8L engine and manual transmission. I will consider any color and any condition, from DE-prepared to pristine street machine.

Thanks

Good Luck
It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on comparing your previous Turbo to a big bore NA car once you find one.
A local guy has a chipped and tuned 3.8 RS America (964), currently for sale, that is quite obviously much stronger than my 3.6.

What is the attraction with a 3.8L ?

I have one in mine, but don't feel it is a huge benefit over the 3.6. The gearbox and ratios seem to make more of a difference as far as I can tell.

I've wondered about the availability of such a car as it will surely be cheaper than building one.

There was a guy advertising on Craigslist in Naples or Ft. Myers, Florida selling a 3.8. From the ad it sounded nice...Not sure if it's still around.

Ha. That kinda went out the door when Evan's race car went elsewhere. My fault, of course, as we did have a deal sorts that would have made the yellow car expendable. (However I get to a GT2 Evo wannabe, I don't really care.)

I responded over to the similar thread on the 964 forum, not realizing we had one going on over here. Bottom line on the yellow car is $42K, and if that doesn't blow a warmed over RSA out of the water, flame away................
