Default Durametric diag. Software

Hello all,

i just purchased a diag Software from FVD (Brombacher), but it does not recognise my ECU of my P993 (my 1994).
I am using this adaptercable from the UK:
http://cgi.ebay.at/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...EOIBSA:AT:1123

So is there only the cable, which is offered form FVD working with that Software?

Question: can one use any adaptercable or is it a must to order the one from FVD (Durametric)

Hallo Chris,

Hah, plugged this into Babelfish to see if it would translate correctly.
"Hello Chris,
In original FVD cable is a chip inserted which communication with the Durametric permitted and/or made possible. Therefore you unfortunately broke the original cable by FVD which in the set with Durametric are sold. Still which, the Durametric SW you can down-load from Durametric homepage free of charge. Evenly because the SW funtioniert only with that original cables. Therefore I as you do not mean white with SW buy. "

Hi

I have one of these and you are paying for the Durametric cable which has a chip in it. The software is useless without the cable, and not only that the cable has to have an unused licence on it.
