Shift **** pictures wanted!
My '96 C2 options sticker shows my car was originally equipped with a XC9 Dark Rootwood Gear Shift **** (standard with Y60). I am the third owner, and somewhere along the way someone switched it out with a standard black leather one with a silver 6-speed insert. I found what the Rootwood should look like, not sure I want to go that route. (see picture below)
I would like to switch it out, what are some options? Are there any custom suppliers out there?
Show us what you have!

I also have the RS, as pictured by JAWS. Note that it is lightweight plastic instead of metal like the original.

I have the factory option rootwood shift and brake handle and I really like them. The shift **** is shaped just right and feels great in your hand. It's a great option IMHO.

Do they make the carbon one (993Man posted, first picture) without the Turbo badge?

Keith, you mean that old car with 100 less HP and crappy handling compared to that beautiful black 997?

That would probably be well down on my list of choices.

My opinion is that it would burn the crap outta your hand in an Alabama summer.
I haven't seen one in a 993, but would a 917 replica be the business?

LOL, yeah that one ! Lotta character in that 993 with plenty of life left in it. I know you're enjoying it and it's in great care.
Tammy misses it more than I do.....she asked the other night if you'd sell it back to us.
