Default Broken front sway bar brackets

95 993 NB, steet/track. I have had a problem with the brackets holding the front sway bar & bushings to the crossmember pulling the tab out of the crossmember while on the track. Seems like a weak design of the c-clamp with one side bolted and the other slid into a slot.

I have TRG 25mm bars set on 3 of 5, probably too stiff which contributes to the stress and I found that I did not have the bar centered perfectly. I have contacted TRG to see if they offer a beefier bracket. Any Rennlister aware of any aftermarket sources? I may get new factory clamps and drill a hole in the tab so I can bolt both sides as an option.

Thanks

I bet it's a combination of stiff bar, stiff bushings, and relatively soft springs.

You think there's enough surface area on the tab to put an adequately sized/strong bolt through?

When I had TRG bars I had a similar issue, seems to be I solved it by using slightly longer bolts
