Default Trackday setup

I think that this topic is discussed here many times. But anyways, what is the best wheel alignment setup purely for track? I have 225/40 R18 in front and 285/30 in back.

235 in the front would be better for a start
close to 0 toe front
max front camber (if no adjustable upper camber plates)
max front caster (max is often asymmetrical, pair to lesser side unless you're racing oval )
square rear camber (equal to the front, up to -2 deg)
kinematic 2-4, within 1 symmetrical

Thank's Matt

So, basically -2 degree camber, 0 degree toe in every corner.

How much does kinematic affect on the track in reality?

Jack,

Yikes, no, you still need some rear toe, suggest RS spec if you have rubber bushings, less than RS spec if you have spherical bearings in the rear control arms.

Remember that kinematic is essentially dynamic toe (and a bit of dynamic camber) so in short, yeah, it's important .

Running -1.9 camber front with 1/32 toe and 5.4 caster. -2.5 camber rear with 3/32 toe. Very neutral, slight understeer. Sorry, no kimematic spec.

I agree w/ JD after running several different setups
front
camber -2.4*
toe 0
castor maxed I could only get ~4.5*

rear
camber -2
toe in .22*

ride height 24.5/24.75" full RS spec suspension(don't go there w/ out it)
I like more camber in front for better turn in, i'm using 225/265

I like 285 rears but don't like the tall 235s from Michelin, I would want 245/35 front w/ 285/30 rear
