I guess, call the police and file a claim. If you are in Chicago, you will have to go into the station and file a report in person though, as they will not send an officer to your car to file this type of report as the car is still drivable- which is just another reason to leave this crappy state - beyond our political corruption.

I guess there are other options available, but we probably should not post them up
