Default Do i need spacers with the my02 wheels??

I just got a 1998 C2S and also am getting a set of MY02 wheels from here at Rennlsit!!- Question since my car has the 18"tech. rims and I am running 285's in the rear- do I need a spacer for the MY02's???- Or is it a direct bolt on???
Sorry for the newbee questions!!

THANKS!!!!

Should be straight bolt on. You might want to use spacers to make the wheel fill the space better and a wider look.

If I had a WB car I would use 11 inch rims in the back and slap 315s on them, but that is just me.

MY02's usually have a 65 rear offset. This is for NB cars. You will need to run spacers in the rear for proper fitment on a WB car.

I bought replica MY02's and they would not fit without 3mm spacers in the back.
Found out about that to late and had to have the calipers repainted

This is correct. I run MY02s on my WB C4S and needed to run spacers on the rears only.

+1 on MY02+widebody=spacers. I've got 30mm spacers to use (haven't ever gotten around to swapping wheels yet so I haven't test fit them, but my research said this would work) and from prior conversation with goofballdeluxe, he is running 32mm.

I really like the look of MY02s on a WB, but you definitely have to use spacers. I ended up not going with them only because I personally just didn't feel comfortable running with spacers.

I probably would think twice about spacers if one is, say, putting the car through lots of track use.

But for day to day big city driving, I've not noticed any downside.
