Default Help with rear offset 17 inch wheels?

I am looking to buy a set of rear wheels for a race 1995 993, want to run 275x40x17 Hoosier R6s, does any one know offset requirements or what fits, found wheels with anywhere from 44mm to 64 mm offset, I know original Cup2s were 55mm but will others work?
Thanks
Rich

I'm sure someone will chime in here soon, but I would have to go see what mine are. Presently running OZ Fittipaldi's with 275x40x17's as well. The car has had Hoosier A6's at one point. Same tire just different compound. No rubbing or issues thus far.

you don't mention wheel widths, but
10"ET65 is an excellent fit for 265 -285 tires

for the same fit w/ 9.5" is ET58

and the same fit w/ a 9" is ET52

I'd want the widest wheels on mine

/\ True. I am running 9.5's in the rear, 8.5's up front. Would love to progress to some 9's and 10's.

I used to run 8.5 x 17 fronts and 10.5 x 17 rears with 245 f and 275 R, I will see if I can find the offsets of the rears for you.

I still have the wheels at home, was going to refinish them but may just get rid of them...
