Default I've been sitting in this darn car for 219 days and 21 hours

and I'm ready to go for another drive. My average speed has been 49.65 mph. Had the dealer read off the operating hours this morning.

I know, I know. Post some pics. I'll wash, wax and shoot some pics when the light is right later today.

That is impressive! When do you figure you will be hitting 300K?

Has the Engine ever been rebuilt?
Or had the SAE Ports Clogged?

Is the light right yet?

Keep driving it. How far can she go? I get the feeling you're aiming to find out.

Here she is. Note SUV ride height. This, along with a set of Blizzaks, is necessary for winter operation, although I have an '08 335XI winter beater that I've used the past 2 winters. No engine rebuild yet. 5/6 SAI ports successfully flushed. I throw the SAI CEL every 1-2000 miles. I reset it and it will get through PA emissions The car still pulls hard. I should hit 300k in 2013.

I don't think I could ever think twice about driving my C4 after this. I too thank you for the inspiration!

I always love seeing your mileage/use updates, Rich! At a "measly" 130K miles, I have a way to go, but I can echo what a joy it is to drive such a great car daily! Keep up the smiles per gallon!

Funny how owners of low mileage cars post about needing top-ends.

Richard,
Some windex on a microfiber towel will remove all the gunk from the metal part of the shifter **** in about 5 seconds and make it look new. Also, you can restore the leather back to the original classic gray with a colorplus kit if you want and it will look new also. Takes about 30 mins.

I realize you may like it the way it is. Just a suggestion.
